mtCheck™ Mitochondrial Keima-Red Mitophagy Detection Kit (Kanamycin/neomycin)

Full Name
mtCheck™ Mitochondrial Keima-Red Mitophagy Detection Kit (Kanamycin/neomycin) (KITA1095)
Product Name mtCheck™ Mitochondrial Keima-Red Mitophagy Detection Kit (Kanamycin/neomycin) (KITA1095)
Description MT-mKeima-Red was used to monitor mitochondrial autophagic activity, i.e., the selective degradation of mitochondria by autophagy, and Park2 is essential for the induction of mitochondrial autophagy. It is known that some cell lines, such as HeLa and HEK293, which are often used for mitochondrial autophagy studies, express little or no endogenous Park2. Therefore, the expression of exogenous Park2 on vectors is useful for monitoring mitochondrial autophagic activitynnPark2 is essential for the induction of mitophagy. Moreover, cell lines commonly used to study mitochondrial autophagy like HeLa and HEK293 largely do not express endogenous Park2. Therefore, exogenous Park2 helps to monitor mitophagy.
