Mitochondrial Label-Free Quantification Analysis

Creative Biogene uses the latest mitochondrial protein quantitative research platform to provide Label-free analysis technology, which provides an effective scheme for comprehensive and systematic qualitative and quantitative analysis of complex intracellular mitochondrial proteomics.

Protein unlabeled quantification (label-free) is a mass spectrometric analysis of protein hydrolyzed peptides by LC-MS/MS technology. It does not use expensive stable isotope tags as internal standards. It works by analyzing the mass spectrometry data produced during large-scale protein identification and comparing the corresponding peptides' signal intensity in different samples to quantify the proteins corresponding to the peptides. Compared with iTRAQ technology, the sample volume required for label-free technology is small, and the cost is low. The label-free technique can be used for quantitative comparative analysis of high-throughput biomarker screening, protein-protein interaction, protein post-translational modification, and so on.

Creative Biogene uses Thermo Fisher's Q ExactiveHF mass spectrometry platform, Orbitrap Fusion mass spectrometry platform, Orbitrap Fusion Lumos mass spectrometry platform, and Nano-LC to provide the label-free quantitative proteome analysis service. Tell us the goal of your experiment and send us your cells, and we will be responsible for all the follow-up matters of the project, including cell culture, cell labeling, protein extraction, protease digestion, peptide separation, mass spectrometry analysis, mass spectrometry raw data analysis, bioinformatics analysis.

Work Flow

Creative Biogene will provide you with a detailed technical report when the project is delivered, including experimental steps, relevant MS parameters, details of identified amino acids, MS images (high resolution), and detailed raw data. Creative Biogene always provides you with customized services for mitochondrial research, and our one-stop research and analysis platform can meet all your research needs.

Technical characteristics

  • Low cost: no need for expensive isotope labels, no labeling of proteins, low volume of protein samples needed and low cost of experiments.
  • Short cycle: no complex marking steps, simple operation, and time efficient.
  • Wide range of application: it is not limited by sample conditions, and can be used to identify all kinds of proteins of almost any species.
  • High requirements: high stability and repeatability of liquid chromatography and tandem mass spectrometry identification, and sufficient technical repetition is needed to confirm the reliability of the results.
