Pressure Cycling Technology (PCT) technology is a rapid crushing of trace samples based on cyclic ultra-high pressure. The cycle between ultra-high pressure and standard atmospheric pressure can induce the dissolution of matrix and protein, promote and accelerate protein hydrolysis, and be used for proteome sample preparation. It has the advantages of high speed, low loss, simple operation, and high fidelity. For clinical samples, PCT can also inactivate potentially contaminated infectious microorganisms and restore the original state of the samples to the maximum extent.

CD Mitochondria has established a very efficient PCT-SWATH standardization process. The clinical large cohort samples can be transformed into big data by high-throughput PCT-SWATH technology. PCT-SWATH technology combines PCT and SWATH technology, which is especially suitable for batch analysis of proteome in large queues (tens of hundreds or even thousands of samples) and a small number of samples (such as tissue biopsy samples). It can analyze the mass protein data generated by mass spectrometry, compare with each other and data mining, to find and quantify the specific protein expression, and finally obtain some disease markers or explore the relevant molecular mechanism behind the occurrence of some diseases.
